Good Afternoon Latics Fans,

As requested by a section of the fan base, we are writing today to provide you of a brief update prior to the full write up of notes being released with full details of questions asked and answers provided throughout the meeting.

First of all, we would like to place on record our thanks to Abdallah Lemsagam, Natalie Atkinson and Richard Bowden for their attendance to discuss fans issues and questions in a small, controlled and professional format.

Many areas were discussed in the meeting including Financial aspects, playing side/recruitment, Board Members and the future and ambition. We narrowed the amount of questions down as many were replicated and asked as many as the time allotted period allowed.

Yesterday saw the signing of former AFC Fylde striker Danny Rowe. A signing that we believe to be a positive move in the market given his goalscoring record over the previous two seasons.

Regardless of signings at this stage however, it is crucial that we continue to represent supporters views. Last night’s meeting can be seen as a starting point but it has to only be seen as just that. For the club to connect with its supporters once again and for the dwindling support base to contemplate staying/returning to Boundary Park, it will take a lot more than just last night’s meeting and that is hopefully a message that was portrayed by ourselves throughout the meeting and something which the club agreed.

PTB believe a communication channel has now been opened with the club, which we expect will be a route for fans to have their voices heard by the club and acted upon.

The boycott should and will run its course over this weekend and PTB, whilst appreciating the thoughts and feelings of some supporters, believe that this is a message that has to be delivered to the club in order for them to notice the strength of feeling of the fan base to date. We feel that it is imperative to carry out this action to emphasise that supporters cannot and will not be treated in the way our fan base has been over a number of years throughout a number of regimes. PTB are wanting the club to acknowledge that a number of supporters who still attend matches are close to the breaking point which has seen approximately 1000 Latics supporters stay away from Boundary Park in less than one season. Things need to change for the better at the football club and we hope this is the start of that.

Due to time restraints not all questions have been answered, these will be sent to the club for answers. When the answers have been returned, we will release the notes over the coming days and provide a comprehensive and thorough report from the meeting.
